LabRecon Chip (Version 2)

You can use a LabRecon chip to measure and control variables of a real system when connected to the LabRecon software running on a PC using a USB, Bluetooth, or serial interface.

The LabRecon Chip is software configurable for combinations of these pin functions:
  8 analog inputs,
  4 PWM outputs (2 Directional),
  4 servo outputs,
  Outputs for 2 Stepper Motors,
  7 On/Off outputs,
  Inputs for 1 Quadrature Encoder,
  2 count/frequency inputs.

Datasheet: LabRecon - Chip Datasheet (rev 2.0).pdf.

Below is a screen, which shows the real-time values of the chip pins. One can use the Measurement Wizard to select from lists of commercially available sensors. LabRecon uses its built-in database to design the conditioning circuit and automatically set scaling and linearization parameters.

Further down is the Wiring Diagram used to wire objects to the Ain (Analog Input) values and Dout (Digital Output) values.

The paper LabRecon_Photovoltaics.pdf presents an application for which a LabRecon chip was used to monitor the performance of photovoltaic/lithium-ion battery system.
